Educating our Youth

Career Day! I enjoyed speaking with Jefferson Elementary 5th and 6th Grade students about careers in public service and our role in the Auditor’s Office. Some great questions were asked by many students!

I volunteering with the Annual Ashtabula County Ag Day at the County Fairgrounds! Over 1,000 1st Graders learned about all types of farm related facts, got milkshakes and healthy smoothies, and got close to farm animals. Great job to the organizing committee for another successful Ag Day!

We had a wonderful visit from over 100 Rock Creek Elementary School and Jefferson Elementary School 4th graders to the Courthouse to learn about local government. Some great questions and smart kids. Best quote, "with everything you guys do in your office, my head is just spinning trying to keep up!"
