State Rep-Elect Thomas Taps District Native Levi Cole for Aide Position
Jefferson- Incoming State Representative for Ohio’s 65th District David Thomas has announced his staff for the next General Assembly in Columbus. Dorset Township native Levi Cole will be serving as Legislative Aide for the 65th District which includes the southern 3/4ths of Ashtabula County and northern and eastern Trumbull County. Cole will take this position in January as Thomas begins his new role January 6th.
“I cannot be more excited to have Levi join me in Columbus next year to help serve the taxpayers of our district,” shared Rep-Elect Thomas. “He has a real passion for helping people and he will fit my goal of great customer service perfectly.”
Cole is a 2022 graduate of Liberty University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and human resources and presently is an HR Assistant at a manufacturing plant, Kennametal, in Orwell, Ohio.
“I am excited for this opportunity to give back and want to do the best I can to help people in our community,” said Cole.
In addition to strengths with people, Cole grew up on his family’s cattle farm in Dorset and serves as Treasurer for Rustler Ranch, a non-profit ranch in Pierpont, Ohio. He says his policy areas of passion are conservation, agriculture, and economic affordability for families.
Each Ohio Representative has one staff member who works out of the Statehouse and serves the needs for scheduling, case management, constituent questions, policy review, and many more responsibilities. Thomas said that having an aide from the district is not a requirement, but he believes Cole’s background will be an added service to his constituents.
“We’re gonna make a great team and when you call or email our office, I think you’re really going to enjoy working with Levi to solve issues or get solutions,” said Rep-Elect Thomas.
