Vote No on Issue 1 this November!
This November Gerrymandering is on the ballot, but a Yes Vote as Liberal Activists would like you to do would actually place Gerrymandering into Ohio's Constitution, remove current safeguards against Gerrymandering, and create an unaccountable and unknown group of unelected members to determine Ohio's future. It's very simple- Issue 1 mandates Gerrymandering and removes safeguards we all supported in 2015 & 2018. We must VOTE NO on Issue 1!
The Ohio Supreme Court ruled that Issue 1 would in fact mandate Gerrymandering into Ohio's Constitution and result in districts that are neither compact nor keep communities whole. It's very simple- Issue 1 mandates Gerrymandering and removes safeguards we all supported in 2015 & 2018. We must VOTE NO on Issue 1!

Vote No on Issue 1! A Yes vote for Issue 1 is a vote to put Gerrymandering into the Ohio Constitution. It's just that simple. Issue 1 removes all of the safe guards about keeping counties and areas whole and instead, makes getting to an end number of partisan seats the most important goal. That's Gerrymandering, plain and simple. What's worse? You the voter have no protection to challenge their Gerrymandered maps or the commission members. Bad policy.
